In addition, the symmetrical chassis design synergizes excellent front-rear balance through the suspension with responsive control, irrespective of power source. Featuring slipper clutch, front & rear gear differentials, oil shocks and full ball bearing specs, the high durability and impact resistance allows drivers to unleash the full potential of the chassis. Standard spur and pinion gear setting is 68T and 32T, but 9 pinion gear settings can be used from 29T – 37T to produce a wide range of gear ratio settings. The new fixed gear mesh motor mount has holes for use with each different pinion gears. Just simply mount the motor directly to the hole locations corresponding to the pinion gear. No gear mesh adjustment is necessary.

Recreating the look and feel of the 1,000 horsepower engine, the triple carburetors that sat atop the supercharger on the engine of the actual truck, are replicated and attached to the chassis, and provide another level of scale detail that's faithful to the real USA-1 monster truck.The newly developed 2300 KV KYOSHO SPEED HOUSE TORX8+ brushless motor generates approximately 4400 RPM at 14.8v than the previous TORX8 motor used in the Mad Crusher VE. The red color of the motor distinguishes it as the higher performance of the TORX8+ series.

This fence is available in two lengths(400mm and 840mm / 40mm height) and is designed to connect seamlessly with screws. Gear differential on rear enables smooth cornering and is easy to assemble and maintain. Add diff oil (sold separately) to convert into oil-filled diff. Ultima series ball differential can also be fitted for circuit driving.

Tapping screws with easy maintenance 2mm hex heads are mainly used for fixing plastic parts, instead of plus-head screws usually used on entry-level models.

The high-rigidity duralumin main chassis has undergone slight modifications, while the proven low-profile gearbox and other key components have been carried over from the Ultima RB7.

A new body based on the superb aerodynamics of the RB7, features design modifications to the rear cabin to further enhance efficiency. The rear wing has also been redesigned for increased strength, generating powerful and stable downforce.

The front and rear shock stays have been upgraded from the RB7's plastic material to 4mm thick carbon fiber, significantly enhancing strength and rigidity. The completely redesigned aluminum rear hub carriers allow for changes in upper rod length by adjusting spacer thickness, increasing the capacity for ball bearings. The height of the suspension pins can be adjusted by replacing the resin bushings.

The new rear bulkhead features a separate upper rod mounting point. The aluminum upper rod mount enhances suspension rigidity and allows for tuning of the suspension geometry by adjusting the rod mounting height.

The LCG battery mount allows forward-back weight distribution adjustments and features a tool-free, one-touch system for quick battery installation and removal.

At the 1987 Electric Off-Road Car World Championship in the UK, the prototype Optima Mid dominated the 4WD A-Main final race securing 5 out of 10 starting positions. Following its success, the Optima Mid was commercialized to achieve worldwide racing acclaim. In 1988, the Turbo Optima Mid Special was released in limited quantities as the final evolution of the Optima Mid and sold out instantly due to overwhelming demand. Now, this legendary machine returns in 2025 as Volume 18 of Kyosho's Vintage Series. The original Turbo Optima Mid Special featured an 18mm longer wheelbase than the Optima Mid, enhancing high-speed stability and cornering performance. Its main chassis was designed for improved battery weight distribution and constructed from FRP sandwiched between carbon plates, striking an optimal balance of flexibility and rigidity. The belt and belt cover were also specifically designed for the Turbo Optima Mid Special, and the body was newly created to match the chassis. This faithful reproduction retains all these defining features while incorporating updates to support modern power systems and R/C electronics. Previously optional parts are now included as standard, along with several newly developed components. Unlike the original, this is not a limited edition but a permanent addition to Kyosho’s catalog. The return of the Turbo Optima Mid Special to modern circuits is a dream come true for all fans, whether they were lucky enough to own the original, or missed out due to its limited production. Now anyone can drive the ultimate evolution of the Optima!

After the dynamic impact of the Optima was felt across the R/C racing scene, the Turbo Optima launched in 1986 as the strongest machine in the series. Until now. In addition to large diameter tires, large capacity pressure shocks, front & rear stabilizers and Le Mans 240S motor, the immortal Turbo Optima has modernized for 8.4V power and makes its debut as the 7th model of the vintage series. Key components of the Turbo Optima chassis have been redesigned to meet the demands of modern racing conditions and power sources, and share DNA with the Optima and Javelin. The new Turbo Optima is not simply a reproduction of the original and includes gold anodized parts that were optional upgrades on the original, gold shocks with dial adjustment of chassis height and new modern block pattern tires. Higher specs and design features deliver modern performance standards and visual impact that captures the magic of the original. - While a faithful reproduction the original Turbo Optima, each key performance component has been revised for compatibility with modern power sources.
- 4WD belt drive. Pulley for chain is also included in the kit so purchase of an optional chain can change the drive system.

Nylon pipe frame and aluminum rooftop form a high strength roll cage body structure. Includes large bumper similar to the original design as well as a mini bumper suitable for racing.

New large size wing and wing stay is made from reinforced nylon material. The original Javelin wing was mounted on the roll cage directly. The new wing stay is now separate from the roll cage adding more durability and the wing is fixed with body clips for easier maintenance. The wing mounting position is the same as the Scorpion series allowing installation of the smaller wing used for the Scorpion onto the new Javelin.

Two drive system selections: chain drive or belt drive.

The gearbox is equipped with a slipper clutch to protect the drive system from sudden load changes such as jump landings. It can respond to various road conditions with simple adjustments.

Main chassis, shock stay and plates are made from 6061T6 aluminum alloy for corrosion resistance and increased strength. Countersunk flat head and tapping screws realize flush finish and reduce the number of nuts used.

While faithfully replicating the original 1986 design, the oil shocks on the new version lift performance potential with stainless steel shafts on front and rear and aluminum cylinders with outer diameter increased from φ10 mm to φ12 mm.

Shock resistant nylon double wishbone suspension with long stroke delivers superior durability and running stability in combination with the increased bore of the oil shocks.

Replace resin bushes on the rear hub carriers to chose from three different toe angles (0°, 1°, 2°). Aluminum hexagonal wheel hubs can be fixed with set screws.

While staying true to the Javelin’s original design, tires feature more pins and a revised compound to ensure increased grip. Includes lightweight chrome dish-type wheels.

Precision 48 pitch gears reduce traction pulsation for direct driving control characteristics while the flat under surface of the countersunk chassis has no protruding screw heads for minimal contact resistance and scraping, resulting in higher durability. Stainless shafts combine with aluminum shock bodies on the oil shocks for smooth stroke from top to bottom and running performance worthy of a true racing buggy.
Like the original Beetle, the 2014 version is packaged as an unassembled kit, but nearly all tapping screws and nuts have been replaced with the improved lightweight and security of hex screws.

Designed and built for the pure enjoyment of R/C car driving, the FAZER Mk2 welcomes this brushless motor addition to the series. Sintered 32T pinion gear is equipped as standard for reliable transfer of the high-powered force from the brushless motor. 68T and 32T are standard settings for spur gears and pinion gears respectively, however a total of 9 pinion gear variations from 29T to 37T are available to suit various motors for a wide range of gear ratio settings. In addition, set positioning of the motor according to the number of teeth of the pinion gear reduces problems with backlash adjustment..

Defining the era of American muscle, the unique characteristics of the ever-popular Dodge Charger have been recreated with concealed headlights equipped with open/close function (operated by optional micro servo on 3rd channel) and the Kyosho designed supercharger. The coke-bottle lines of the semi-fastback 2-door hardtop is immaculately reproduced in a 1/10 scale polycarbonate body.

Front and rear light buckets are compatible with the 97054 LED light unit series (sold separately). Install the LED light unit to recreate the ultimate Dodge Charger reality.
