
Raceway Rules
We will fully adopt the BRCA rulebook for all Racing.
(No BRCA Insurance? No problem!) Either Race up to 3 times on our Temp Cover - or drive alone for practice seasons without the need for liability.
You WILL require BRCA Insurance (£25 per adult per year / £15 per child) if Racing after 3 events.
You must sign a waver before an Arrive & Drive IF* you are not a member of the BRCA. Do not enter the track without reading the notices.
Additionally to a 3 strike rule.
Strike 1 - Verbally asked to stick to the rule ignored.
Strike 2 - Written Notification will be issues and you will be asked to come forth to the committee to explain why the rules continued to be broken.
Strike 3 - You will be asked not to attend for a period set out on the meeting of strike 2. This may include no refund of membership*
For your own and others Safety, you will need to sign a waver and watch any instructions videos provided on the day. Driving beyond your ability will result in being asked to slow your speed or asked to leave with no refund.
No Brushless Heavy Duty Basher Trucks (Too heavy and dangerous for our track)
Limited to 1 Driver Per Pass Per Day (Bolt on's are allowed)
Remember - Racing can be dangerous. If you are driving beyond your limits, you will be asked to slow down.
This is a members only club. None Members will need to sign the waver form and watch the a briefing before allowed onto the Race Track for day use.
Abuse of the facility or staff, theft or damage will be noted and you could be banned from future entry.
Allowed Race Groups
Groups we plan to run (Race Meetings)
- 1/14 Tamiya Euro Trucks (Current Local Brushed Spec only)
- TT Cup (Tamiya TT01 & TT02) 1/10 Car Brushed Group & Brushless Group
- 1/10 MTC 'Mini' M-chassis (Any M-series spec) FWD or RWD (4WD to be in separate scoring) Max Wheelbase Length 239mm
- 1/16 & 1/18th Off Road (Any Drive Format - Short course, Truck, Buggy etc) Any spec
- 1/10 Buggy (Any Motor) 2wd Group and 4wd Group
- 1/12 Mini & GT12 Pan Cars (RWD) Grouped individually (May run with 1/10 Tamiya M-chassis at times)
- Proposed Oval - 1/10 Nascar and Indi F1 (TBC if we have space)
- M-chassis Rally Cross (1/10 WB 229mm or smaller (such as Arbarth, Escort or Mini - Includes smaller classes such as 1/24th Micro Rally.
- 1/10 Touring Brushless - To be ran at same time as TT-Cup if numbers are low.
What is not allowed?
- No Brushless Park Bashers larger than 1/10th Scale. (Unless arranged with staff*)
- Small and Larger Vehicles - Driving Beyond your ability on vehicles that are faster than 30MPH will cause damage to the Facility and persons attending if your vehicle loses control. If you can prove to drive safely you may be allowed any vehicle if stated by staff. You may drive as fast as you wish, as long as you stay within the track limits.
- Only Insured Drivers are allowed on the main Raceway. BRCA Registered drivers are insured for third party claims if they was to damage others property or another person. Use of track officials and Marshells only. To enter without BRCA, you are limited to three meetings covered under BRCA.
- No wet Tires from additive - you must wipe off all access 30mins prior to use, as stated in the manuals of the Additive products.
- New drivers may be restricted to the Oval, until they can show driver awareness of their own vehicle and others on the main circuit. *Driving beyond your ability*. Staff have final say.
- If others are on the track. Always check with current drivers that are practicing - that they will accept you on the track. If they do not, you will be allowed to enter after 5 minutes, still practicing or not. Each driver can be allowed 5 full minutes track time alone if they state this to other users - for practice only* (not including race nights).
