Tyre Recommendation

Tyre Recommendation:

Typically used recommendation below - use further guides on our sections for prepping the tyres.

Shore Rating - The lower the shore the softer the rubber is - 28-30shore is used for indoor carpet racing on Slick rubber tyres for 4wd 1/10 Cars.

Foam tyres still work on a shore rating, but are different due to widths available and the 2WD issue.

- 1/10 Buggys - use Schumacher Cactus on rears, use Cut Stagger on front of 2WD and Cactus or Mezzo on front of 4wd.

- 1/10 Touring Cars - Use any 28 to 30 shore tyres. In colder temperatures or for beginners. We recommend our Contact / Corally RC 40sh electric car foam tyres. Tyres on their own use Contact JR-A30 30Shore

- 1/12 Minis Circuit and Oval - Use Front Contact JM47FB & Contact JM32RN

- 1/12 LMP Circuit - use Contact JT2-35RT 35shore Rear & JT2-35FT Front 35Shore
