Sporty Evolution of the TT-02!
This sporty evolution of the TT-02 chassis sees the efficient shaft-driven 4WD unit given newly-designed parts and gives users the ability to make setup adjustments across the board, making it great for racing! It is equipped with long reversible suspension arms, and rigid metal suspension mounts. The rear is set up with 3°of toe-in. CVA oil dampers are attached to specially-designed 3.0mm thick FRP damper stays, with optimum damper angle and rebound stroke providing excellent road holding. Turnbuckle upper arms and steering linkage allow fuss-free adjustment of camber and front toe. Power loss is minimized by the use of full ball bearings and metal cup joints and drive shafts.

Inspired by the Ford Shelby GT350R-C, the Ford Mustang GT4 has been designed and engineered jointly by Ford Performance and Multimatic Motorsports to compete in sports car championship racing series globally, including the IMSA Continental Tyre SportsCar Challenge, Pirelli World Challenge GTS/GT4, and GT4 European Series.

TT-02 Chassis
The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports.

Mini Coopers have been automotive fan favourite machines for decades! This 1/10 scale radio control model kit recreates the version of the Mini Cooper built by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) as it existed between 1959 until the year 2000. Original Minis were built for four decades without model changes. It had a front-wheel drive layout which was rare at that time, and it featured compact mechanics and maximum interior space. With its design featuring the necessary bare minimum features, it helped contribute to this car’s iconic status. The recreated R/C version comes on the MB-01 chassis in the short wheelbase and front motor / front-wheel drive (FF) configuration layout.

The MB-01 Chassis
The compact, 2WD MB-01 chassis gives a choice of three types of wheelbases, and a front- or rear- wheel drive system. Without removing battery pack, motor, and R/C equipment setups from the centre frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front- and rear-wheel drive; low or high motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features symmetrical structure and friction dampers. Unitized sections such as motor mount, final gears and suspension facilitate ease of assembly and effective maintenance.

The BT-01 Chassis
The iconic Porsche 911 RSR 2.8 makes its way to the highly versatile BT-01 chassis! To faithfully recreate the motor and drive train layout as much as possible of the full-size car, this kit instructs the builder to assemble the chassis in the short wheelbase, midship rear motor / rear-wheel drive (MR) setup. This layout configuration provides rear-wheel drive handling excitement at every turn and exciting throttle response.

The 2WD BT-01 chassis – which offers choices of FF/MR/FR drive system – welcomes another R/C kit; this time, a short wheelbase, midship rear motor / rear wheel drive (MR) setup with the body which recreates the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8. The Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 is a legend of the Porsche 911 series. Developed to join European GT races in 1973, it employed a 2,687cc horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine capable of 210hp, a lightweight body with improved aerodynamics, and wide rear tires. The Carrera RSR 2.8 racing version increased displacement to 2,808cc and output to over 300hp; in 1973, it was a European GT race champion and took numerous global victories

Aluminium rear uprights give 3-degree toe-in for more stable cornering, while an aluminium motor mount makes for greater rigidity and enhanced heat dissipation. A highly reliable drivetrain employs full ball bearings, aluminium propeller shaft and centre cups, plus metal drive shafts and joint cups. Suspension is fitted with CVA oil dampers and black coil springs; they provide superior cushioning and improved traction. The kit also includes a TT-02 high speed gear set (68T).

About the Peugeot
Based upon the FF hatchback Peugeot 306, the Peugeot 306 Maxi was developed with dedicated components for rallying. A 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine in front was capable of 280hp, and the car had enlarged fenders, roof spoiler, and a lightened body. Including the victories in 1996 and 1997 rally races in France, this car achieved many racing successes such as the class championship in the 1996 rally in Monte Carlo and third place in the 5th and 6th races on the 1997 global rally circuit. This R/C model assembly kit is inspired by such rally champions.

Tamiya welcomes another racing car – this time, the 1978 Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo – paired with our popular TT-02 chassis. In 1978, the Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo was developed for the DRM (German Racing Championship) by West German racing team Zakspeed. This car featured an extremely low-profile wide body born of intensive wind tunnel testing, and weighed a mere 790kg. A 1,427cc inline-4 DOHC turbo engine was capable of 375hp. This car achieved victory for the first time at the 11th race of the DRM in Nürburgring in October 1978; the next year it got the second position at the first race of the DRM and victory at the second race.

This R/C model recreates the ENEOS X PRIME GR Supra of ROOKIE Racing with a prominent orange color scheme. It is one of six GR Supra cars taking part in the Super GT series GT500 class in 2024. The GR Supra GT500 was developed in accordance with GT500 class regulations as a replacement for the LEXUS LC500 which flourished in three seasons from 2017 to 2019. With the streamlined car design of the road going GR Supra, this racing car features a carbon monocoque frame, dedicated aerodynamic components and transmission, plus a 2,000cc inline 4-cylinder direct injection turbocharged engine “RI4AG.”

This is a 1/10 R/C model assembly kit of the Lancia Delta Integrale. The polycarbonate body recreates the look of the angular 4-door hatchback, complete with front/rear blister fenders and down to details such as the bulge on the front bonnet and the numerous air intakes in the front bumper. The kit also includes separate parts to depict the side mirrors and roof spoiler. Stickers recreate the markings, including the famous Martini Racing stripes. The model runs on the front motor, belt-driven 4WD XV-01 chassis, and comes complete with rally block tires to make it ready to drive on-road or on flat dirt.

XV-01 Chassis
The XV-01 chassis offers exciting R/C driving action on both on- and off-road surfaces. It features a front-motor, belt-driven 4WD layout with the gearboxes, drive belt, battery, and R/C unit areas protected by covers against dirt and debris. Holes in the bottom of the chassis further help remove any debris which manages to get onboard, ensuring unhindered off-road performance. Long steering linkage provides stable wheel alignment. In addition, detachable wheel well liners help prevent mud and gravel intrusion. Gear differential units enable customization with different viscosities of differential oils.

This 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit reproduces the Subaru Impreza WRX STI Team Arai which took victory at Rd.5 Rally Hokkaido during the 2011 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship. The sporty form of the Impreza has been realistically reproduced by the polycarbonate body and the roof intake and square-shaped side mirrors are depicted with separate parts for a sharp finish. The distinctive markings of the race car can be easily depicted with the included stickers. The MF-01X is a compact chassis set to revolutionize the M-Chassis genre, and the all-important first model on this platform recreates the legendary Japanese off-roader, the Suzuki Jimny. The Jimny, of course, has been on sale as one variant or another since 1970, gaining numerous fans thanks to its versatility and toughness. The JB23 depicted by this model is one of the 3rd generation Jimnys introduced in 1998 which had a modernized, rounded body design. It featured a feisty little fuel injected, turbocharged 658cc engine and was a popular car in the domestic Japanese market.

Key Design Points
Power is transmitted from the rear mounted motor to the front wheels via a propeller shaft that runs down the side of the MF- 01X. Gearboxes are integrated into the monocoque for a sturdy and easy-to-assemble structure.

The MF-01X has a three-section make-up; changing the central spacer section enables short (210mm), middle (225mm), and long (239mm) wheelbases. Item 58614 uses a middle wheelbase; option parts Item 54654 is needed to change to a short wheelbase, and Item 54655 when changing to a long wheelbase.

The Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR R/C car kit first made its appearance in the Tamiya product catalogue in 1998 on the popular TA-03R chassis platform then later the easy to assemble TT-01E platform. The CLK-GTR has made a return this time on our high-performance TC-01 chassis platform, which is destined to provide the most performance yet as it takes advantage of the Mercedes sleek body profile and the low centre of gravity of the TC-01!

TC-01: Seriously Low-Profile
This durable composite monocoque-frame chassis provides shaft driven 4WD from a central motor via front and rear propeller shafts, with oil filled gear differentials. 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension employs long arms, plus inboard setups front and rear with oil shock-dampers actuated by push rods and rocker arms to allow the use of low-profile bodies. Adjust spacer width to easily alter camber, skid, and toe angle settings. Both suspension arms and uprights are identical left, right, front and rear, for more efficient maintenance and pit work.

Speedy and controllable 2 belt-driven 4WD chassis in TA series!
The Tamiya TA series continues to evolve. This iteration, the TA08 PRO, further evolves on-road touring car driving with this hopped-up chassis. The slim TA08 PRO Chassis Kit eliminates the need for an upper deck, which balances weight and rigidity. Its layout features the motor in near identical position to the TRF420, with the spur gear in front of the motor. Newly designed upper & lower arms make effective use of tire grip, equipped with laid down SSBB (Super Short Big Bore) dampers. This kit was based on Tamiya's extensive know-how built up through our traditional chassis series and data from racing, and offers plenty of potential for tuning.

This is a classic Mercedes race car from the early 1990s. It replicates the iconic 190 E 2.5-16 Evo.II. The livery in this kit faithfully replicates the colours of the Team Zakspeed car which ran in the 1991 DTM. Of special historical racing note; in races 6 and 7 of the season, the no.20 car was piloted by a young Michael Schumacher, who later went on to win 7 Formula One World Championships. The main sponsor of the car was Daimler-Benz’s now-defunct group company Debis.

TT-01 E (Evolved Chassis)
The bathtub frame of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery close to the ground for lower centre of gravity and optimum balance. Mounted on the bathtub frame is a fibreglass reinforced nylon top deck and gear covers improving rigidity, as well as a 3-piece tie rod providing smooth steering action. The low centre of gravity, highly balanced design, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differential gears all come together to produce a fun driving car.
