Making its debut at the 1997 Milan Motor Show was the Yamaha super sports YZF-R1, which was developed to be the fastest machine on winding roads. The compact design of the YZF-R1 as well as its sharp lines which include the cowlings and fuel tank are accurately reproduced as a plastic assembly model kit.
