Outstanding Response and Control
The new Quicrun brushed motors offer improved performance, reliability, and response over other motors. With improved materials and overall design, these motors offer significant power gains.

Excellent efficiency
With up to 69% maximum efficiency, the Quicrun brushed motors far exceed standard motors of the same specifications (555-11T). The maximum efficiency is up to 17% higher. These new motors run cooler (Lower temps) than similar motors under the same load.

Zero Cogging Torque Design
The 555 motor adopts a 5-slot design, and the motor cogging effect is virtually eliminated. These new motors have a very small torque fluctuation and, bring a very linear response at all speeds for an improved overall drive feel.

Adjustable mechanical timing of the motor
The mechanical timing of the motor can be adjusted by -20 — 20 °. This allows users to fine-tune the RPM and feel of motors. Timing adjustments also allow the motors to be used for CCW and CW applications.

Specialized Carbon Brush for extended life
Developed specifically for these motors, the new brushes feature a custom blend to provide extremely long life, while providing great performance. These motors start to compare to brushless motors in terms of life span.

Modular design for easy service and cleaning
The motors feature an easy-to-service rebuildable design. Convenient for cleaning and maintenance, effectively prolonging the life span and maintaining the efficiency of the motor.

PCB anti-interference board
The motor is equipped with a dual PCB anti-interference board. These reduce the harmful spikes and noise from affecting your speed control.

Quality materials
To ensure high tolerance to abuse and heavy-duty driving, a 200°C high-temperature resistant magnet, 180°C high-temperature resistant copper wire has been used. Combined with 0.35 mm (only 555) ultra-thin silicon steel sheet, and the Hobbywing custom carbon brush, these motors are built to handle the demands of today's driver.

Tamiya is delighted to announce the release of the Ford Baja Bronco as our new R/C model on the cross country CC-02 chassis. The first generation Ford Bronco was relatively compact and extremely capable off-road, and this 4WD car joined numerous races.

The Baja Bronco was sold from 1971 to 1975 to commemorate victory in a major desert race. It had a white and red body with blue roof and black hood plus reinforced sections such as suspension, and this special Bronco enjoys great popularity even in the modern day.

The 1990 Land Rover Defender 90 (originally depicted in Item 58657 on the CC-01 chassis) makes its way to the CC-02 chassis! The Defender 90 is a legendary Land Rover off-road car, and its roots go back to 1948. Based on differences in wheelbases, this car has three types – the Defender 90/110/130. This R/C model depicts a 3-door model with 93-inch wheelbase.

Designed for a wide range of off-road scenes including rocky terrain, the CC-02 chassis' ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability. A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle with separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear. Four-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers for all-encompassing control, even on tricky rock sections. This model comes with black wheels and grippy block pattern tyres.

The Toyota Land Cruiser 40 has been a staple subject for Tamiya since 2008. It first appeared on the CR-01 crawler chassis then later the simpler CC-01 cross country chassis. Now, the classic Land Cruiser makes its way on to Tamiya’s newest cross-country platform, CC-02 with a few detail tweaks for the scale enthusiast!

Sock it to 'em Good!
This R/C model assembly kit recreates a rock crawling vehicle like those seen in popular U.S. events where the massive machines vie for time or crawling ability over impossible-looking obstacles. The lightweight yet tough polycarbonate racing truck body comes with a host of marking stickers for decoration. The tough CR-01 chassis is up to the rock crawling challenge, its durable ladder frames featuring aluminum side channels and resin cross members as well as a 4-link rigid suspension with oil dampers and progressive springs. The motor is placed in a central position, with planetary gears enabling low-speed shaft-driven 4WD. Front and rear differentials can be locked. Large-diameter tires feature a tread pattern which extends to the sidewalls, and are fitted to beadlock wheels.

The Ford Bronco has been sold since 1966, and the Ford Bronco 2021 was announced, with great anticipation, as the sixth-generation model in early 2021, 25 years since the last generation’s release.

Tamiya’s design team have chosen to give R/C enthusiasts a replica of the best Bronco variant of this new generation. The R/C model assembly kit depicts the 2-door top grade First Edition model. The First Edition Bronco SUV is built for those who have waited patiently for the legend’s return. The First Edition is a loaded Bronco combining the best parts of all Bronco series. First Edition Broncos use the mechanicals of a Badlands, the interior of an Outer Banks and the exterior of a Wildtrak to create the ultimate Bronco! The polycarbonate body realistically depicts the eye-catching, dignified form with separate parts to capture the distinctive large front grille's horizontal fins and metal-plated sections. Light case and door mirror components are metal-plated, and door handles and shark fin antenna on the roof are rendered by separate parts for more realism. Silver colour 12-spoke wheels are paired with block pattern tyres.
