The VS4-10 Portal Axle Builders Kit is built for performance and durability, featuring the highest-spec VFD Twin transmission and F10 Portal Axles available in a kit. Drivetrain
At the heart of the VS4-10 Portal Axle Builders kit is the VFD Twin transmission, an advanced system with Selectable Overdrive Shifting (6.5% to 46%) and a 3-position dig unit—all in a compact, efficient package. Machined internal gears, metal bearing plates, and a durable machined aluminum motorplate ensure lasting performance.

Power is transferred through ISD10 driveshafts, featuring machined CV-style joints for smooth and efficient operation. The F10 Portal Axles optimize clearance with a compact design while integrating machined hypoid gears, chromoly spools, and brass axle tube inserts for added strength and weight distribution.

VFD Twin Transmission
The VFD Twin Transmission builds upon the proven VFD platform, integrating advanced drivetrain control with a focus on performance, durability, and scale realism. This system features Selectable Overdrive Shifting and a 3-position dig unit, providing real-time tuning for any terrain.

With on-the-fly overdrive shifting, drivers can toggle between 6.5% (standard) and 46% (high overdrive), dramatically changing the driving dynamics. The overdrive neutral position also allows for 2WD mode, disengaging the front output when needed. The integrated 3-position dig locks the rear axle for tight turns or full control on steep inclines, borrowing from Vanquish Products' proven Hurtz dig design for reliable, smooth operation.

Internally, the VFD Twin is built for durability with hardened chromoly shafts, machined internal gears, and bearing plates reinforcing critical load points. A slipper eliminator ensures maximum power transfer, while the molded transmission housing maintains a scale appearance. The extended skid plate provides added protection for the motor in rough terrain.

F10 Portal Axles
The F10 Portal Axles are designed with a focus on durability, clearance, and smooth performance, leveraging Vanquish Products’ extensive experience in high-performance axle design. These axles feature a high-clearance portal configuration, reducing the size of the differential housing while maximizing ground clearance around the C-hubs and knuckles. This design improves obstacle clearance, minimizes hang-ups, and keeps your rig performing in technical terrain.

The rigid one-piece molded housings incorporate an integrated truss that strengthens the axle structure by tying both ends together. The high-pinion hypoid gear setup improves gear engagement, reduces driveline stress, and provides smoother power delivery.

For increased traction and stability, both front and rear axles include weighted brass tube inserts, while the front axle also features heavy alloy knuckle weights. This strategic weight placement lowers the center of gravity, improving climbing performance and reducing the risk of rollovers. The 49° of steering angle provides exceptional maneuverability, giving you tighter turning capability in challenging conditions.

Additional scale details include a removable third member, one-piece molded bearing retainers, and adjustable lower shock mounting positions for fine-tuning suspension geometry. The 6mm output shafts with M5 wheel nuts ensure durability and compatibility with a wide range of wheel setups.

The VS4-10 chassis is built for a balance of scale realism and high-performance durability, utilizing a heavy-duty steel C-channel frame that provides exceptional rigidity and strength. Designed to handle the demands of extreme terrain, this chassis maintains scale proportions while maximizing functionality for optimal handling and weight distribution.

Molded front and rear cross members reinforce high-stress areas, increasing structural integrity where it matters most. These cross members also incorporate dual servo mounting locations, integrated winch line routing, and a scale fuel cell, adding both versatility and realism to the design.

The rock sliders feature a modular, replaceable outer section, allowing easy adjustments to accommodate different body widths while also serving as a protective barrier against obstacles. This ensures a precise fit for a wide range of body styles without sacrificing durability.

The aluminum panhard mount provides reliable steering geometry, keeping suspension movement controlled and predictable. Molded shock towers hold the 80mm Incision S8E shocks in a double shear configuration, ensuring maximum support and durability under extreme driving conditions.

Suspension

The H10 axle kit offers a complete axle package that brings performance and style to your build. The plastic moulded H10 axles feature an ultra rigid design that is made to run 4-link suspension with the behind the axle servo mount. The simulated hydraulic ram replaces a traditional tie rod and gives the appearance of hydraulic steering like is used on extreme full-size offroad buggies.

Pro Rod Ends are molded in a more rigid material to minimize rod end stretch in high stress applications. Pack of 12 Pro Rod Ends and Pivot Balls, these are compatible with all Vanquish and Incision Link kits*. They are designed to be threaded onto a 4mm thread used in many RC link applications. The pivot balls have a width of 0.280".

The H10 Optic Brushless RTR Trail Buggy was developed from the ground up as a purpose built ultimate trail truck. Styled after buggies that are designed to conquer difficult trails, the H10 caged chassis design allows for full view of the 2.2" Toyo Tires Open Country R/T Pros that are paired with 2.2" Battle Born Wheels Sierras. The H10 axles feature an increased width over the F10 axles and incorporate a scale licensed PSC hydraulic ram style steering. The servo is hidden behind the axle and tucks into the chassis during the suspension cycle, preserving the scale look while providing optimal performance. A 13.25” wheelbase and increased track width offer a new level of stability and capability with this 2.2 trail truck.

Powering the H10 Optic Brushless RTR is an industry proven Hobbywing Fusion SE 1800kv 2-in1 brushless motor and ESC; installed from factory for brushless performance and control - a first for Vanquish Products. Hobbywing’s FOC technology allows for smooth, low speed, precision driving over all obstacles. With an integrated ESC, wiring is simplified.

The proven VFD transmission with its low motor placement provides the H10 chassis a balanced and predictable driving dynamic. The innovations don't stop there, the all new H10 Front axle has an integrated Hydro style ram steering system that provides a direct and protected link between the front tires and hides the servo low behind the rear axle to enhance the scale appearance. The all new Front and Rear H10 axles are exclusive to the H10 Trail Buggy platform with a 4-Link front and rear suspension and 8.11” hex width providing more stability.

The Optic body design is made from durable injection molded ABS commonly referred to as a “Hard Body” giving the H10 Optic a truly scale driving experience of a rugged and solid Trail Buggy with rigid body panels. Beneath the Optic body panels is a highly detailed ABS interior tray and 3D driver comfortably seated in Sparco EVO L QRT racing seat and decked out in a full Sparco competition racing suit, RF-5W helmet, and Land+ gloves. The access to your battery compartments couldn't be easier with a single pin and latch system holding each side panel on to gain quick access on the trail.

The Vanquish Products VRD Mullet Kit is built on our competition level platform proven by its predecessors such as the VRD Carbon and VRD Stance. The VRD Mullet utilizes the lightweight Carbon Spec VFD Transmission and an industry first combination of a F10 Straight front axle and F10 Portal Rear axle. The mix of straight front axle and portal rear axle has been referred to as a mullet setup in the RC Crawling world for years but this is the first time a consumer can buy it in a complete kit version. VRD Mullet Kit is a highly competitive, predictable and versatile platform. Taking advantage of the lower center of gravity that a straight axle offers, you can steer the front exactly where you need it, then take advantage of the additional clearance the F10 Portal rear axle to ensure that a hang-up doesn't stop your progress.

The VRD Mullet Kit features the new S25 frame rails which are optimized for the unique combination of axles and provides an 6 degree angle flat skid plate. The molded chassis components and skid plate place the lightweight Carbon spec VFD transmission as low as possible into the VRD chassis. The Vanquish Products VRD S25 chassis is equipped with molded chassis components that provide a tunable platform to adapt to the most demanding terrain. The S25 has been optimized for the new axle configuration with a new shock mounting positions and reduced rear overhang. Multiple shock and body mounting positions combined with minimalistic front/rear interchangeable bumpers make body mounting and fitment straight forward. Stamped aluminum rock sliders provide a flat location for electronics and/or battery mounting and are able to support and protect your body.

Drivetrain

The center of the VRD Mullet Kit is the Carbon spec VFD transmission. Equipped with a lightweight machined aluminum motor plate, aluminum motor plate standoffs, while omitting the cosmetic VFD tunnel for a high performance appearance. Internally the VFD is equipped with machined aluminum bearing plates and machined lightweight chromoly gears. Each internal gear has been re-designed to be as lightweight as possible dropping the weight of the overall transmission but maintaining a high level of durability. The T-Case has a built in 21% overdrive.

The front F10 Straight axle has machined underdrive ring and pinion gears while the Rear F10 portal axle has the machined overdrive ring and pinion with overdrive portal gears, combined with the VFD overdrive the final overdrive percentage is 34%.

Suspension

The VRD Mullet Kit includes the Incision S8E shocks with hard anodized shock bodies and multiple length tuning rod ends for a final length range of 85-95mm. Heavy duty stainless steel lower suspension links and lightweight upper links connect the chassis to the axles with the Incision Pro M4 rod ends. The rear lower links are bent for maximum breakover clearance. Multiple shock mounting locations and tunable shock length allow for a high range of ride height and breakover adjustment.

DUAL ENGAGEMENT RETENTION PIN
The VS4-10 Origin Classic features a new Dual Engagement Retention Pins integrated into the updated molded inner fenders. This clip-free mounting design provides a clean scale appearance while retaining the body. The side-access pins are positioned discreetly within the inner fenders and lock in place with a snap-fit engagement. Each pin is equipped with a large pull tab designed for easy handling and quick body removal when needed.

The Vanquish Products VRD Stance RTR is a highly competitive, predictable and versatile performance platform. The heart of the VRD Stance RTR are the stamped aluminum frame rails mated to the 6 degree flat skid plate and VFD transmission. The molded chassis components and skid plate place the VFD transmission as low as possible into the VRD chassis. The front F10 Portal axle is equipped with a servo on axle and 4-link. Front and rear axles include weighted brass tube inserts in addition to the front alloy knuckle weights to keep the center of gravity as low as possible, translating to a high performance driving experience. The Red compound VXT2 tires are supported by 4.75" VTS Stance Dual Stage foams. The Lexan Stance body is competition inspired with its short overhangs and pinched design for maximum tire clearance.

VFD-Strength and Tunability
The VFD is designed for optimal performance, scale appearance, strength, and versatile accessories. It positions the motor forward and low for ideal weight distribution. The VFD Spec transmission offers a 6.5% overdrive for improved turning and climbing without stressing electronics. The T-case features replaceable bearing plates for adjustable positioning and optional gear ratios. Compatible with 540 brushed and brushless motors*. The VFD transmission has wide metal gears inside for strength in the areas that count. The option to build the VFD transmission with a variety of option parts allows you to tune the performance to your needs.

Performance Focused - Suspension
High clearance, low center of gravity. The VRD Stance RTR was designed to deliver the ultimate out of the box RTR trail driving experience. The VRD utilizes Incision 90mm S8E shocks with 8mm bore aluminum threaded bodies, dual X-ring seals, locking preload collars, keyed spring cups, and polished steel shock shafts. The front 4-link with suspension with servo-on-axle prioritizes steering effectiveness. Stainless steel links ensure low weight and durability.

VRD Stance RTR

The latest version of the Vanquish Products VRD Stance RTR now includes HD lower links and machined 30/8T Ring & Pinion gears in the axles. The VRD Stance RTR is a highly competitive, predictable and versatile performance platform. The heart of the VRD Stance RTR are the aluminum frame rails mated to the 6 degree flat skid plate and VFD transmission. The molded chassis components and skid plate place the VFD transmission as low as possible into the VRD chassis. The front F10 Portal axle is equipped with a servo on axle and 4-link. Front and rear axles include weighted brass tube inserts in addition to the front alloy knuckle weights to keep the center of gravity as low as possible, translating to a high performance driving experience. The Red compound VXT2 tires are supported by 4.75" VTS Stance Dual Stage foams. The Stance body is competition inspired with its short overhangs and pinched design for maximum tire clearance.

Chassis

The Vanquish Products VRD RTR chassis is equipped with all new molded chassis components that provide a tunable platform to adapt to the most demanding terrain. Multiple shock and body mounting positions combined with minimalistic front/rear interchangeable bumpers make body mounting and fitment straight forward. Stamped aluminum rock sliders provide a flat location for electronics and/or battery mounting and are able to support and protect your body.

Drivetrain

The center of the VRD RTR is the VFD transmission. Equipped with a low / forward motor position, sintered metal gears, and ball bearings. The T-Case has a built in 6% overdrive and can be tuned with optional overdrive gear sets and bearing plates.

The Front F10 Portal axle has overdrive portal gears while the Rear F10 portal axle has the standard ratio gears, combined with the VFD overdrive the final overdrive percentage is 24%. Both axles include brass weighted tubes inside in addition to the alloy portal knuckle covers on the front axle. This is the heaviest spec F10 axle yet keeping the center of gravity as low as possible and the weight bias forward.

Suspension

The VRD RTR includes the Incision S8E shocks. Stainless steel upper and lower suspension links connect the chassis to the axles with Incision M4 rod ends. The rear lower links are bent for maximum breakover clearance. Multiple shock mounting locations and tunable shock length allow for a high range of ride height and breakover adjustment.

Electronics

VT-1 Digital 4 Channel Transmitter provides industry leading features and tuning capabilities in an RTR. 15 model memory, multi-channel end point and rate adjustment, digital screen and multi-position switches for the 3rd and 4th channel.
VE-1 ESC is 3S LiPo capable and includes a strong BEC to power servo functions. The built-in jumpers can be moved to adjust LiPo cut-off and drag brake strength. Factory tuned for your VRD Stance RTR. The VE-1 ESC is our version of the Hobbywing 1060, one of the most trusted RTR ESC’s on the market.
VM-1 35T Brushed motor is a closed endbell design tuned for the VRD Stance RTR to provide trail torque with plenty of speed to conquer the roughest terrain with confidence.
VS-1 Metal Gear Servo tackles the steering duty on the VRD Stance RTR with 200oz-in of torque. Ready for all elements the VS-1 Servo is water resistant and durable with its metal gears and 25T output spline for industry standard servo horns.

True Forged Scale Hardware package includes 12 pieces of 4-40 hardware, styled to replicate the look of hardware most commonly used on fullsize vehicle lugnuts. The size of the hex on the hardware has been maximized (3mm) to provide ultimate strength while installing or removing.

The Eibach S8E Scale Shocks are designed to replicate the styling of Eibach’s newest 2.5" coilover shocks, the PRO-TRUCK Coilover 2.5. Intricate design details of the full-size version are carried through to the machined aluminum top cap, preload collar, lower cartridge cap and included decal sheet to create an easily serviceable, high-end performance shock. 

The lower cartridge cap now threads onto the bottom of the machined aluminum body and retains the dual O-ring seal pack. A machined piston is mounted on the polished steel shaft and secured with an M2X5mm screw rather than standard E-clips. Silver-painted springs and gray hard anodized shock bodies with a laser engraved Eibach logo complete the authentic Eibach look and deliver a true-to-scale finish.

VFD Stubby conversion Kit for the VRD Chassis. Requires the use of a motor 35mm in length or less (typically outrunners). Shortens the length of the VFD transmission with a new topshaft and machined aluminum posts. Includes updated chassis bracing, behind the axle servo relocation mount and shortened VRD skid plate extension for the F10 axle. A lightweight outrunner motor and lowered servo position significantly lowers the center of gravity, increasing the performance of the VRD Carbon.

VTS Stance 4.75" Dual Stage Foams are designed to increase tire stability and performance when mated with Vanquish Products Red Compound tires. The firm inner closed cell foam has been shaped to fit the tire and wheel profile providing sidewall stability and predictability on trail. The soft outer foam layer is designed to let the tire tread pattern conform to terrain and increase traction.

The 4.75" Stance Dual Stage foam is developed specifically for the Vanquish Products VXT2 tire and is well suited for most 4.75"x1.9" tires.

The inner closed cell and outer open cell foams are glued together for consistency and ease of install.
