Tamiya RC Buggy Kits

• This is a 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 395mm (with 265mm wheelbase) / 404mm (with 280mm wheelbase), height: 120mm, width: 248mm.
• Two wheelbases can be selected: 265mm for emphasis on handling or 280mm for emphasis on stability. Reassemble the front section (arms, etc.) to switch between two different wheelbases.
• The distinctive body features multiple body panels connected to pipe frames, a design inspired by full size racing buggies.
• Its 2WD rear-wheel drive chassis has a lightweight, durable bathtub frame which is newly designed.
• The chassis has an inline battery pack position, and a rear-mounted motor to give the rear wheels plenty of traction.
• The sealed gearbox has a built-in gear differential for smooth cornering and helps keep out dust and dirt.
• Side pontoons have the ESC in the left and the receiver in the right.
• The 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with long arms employs CVA oil dampers.
• Front suspension arms have a skid angle of 22.5 degrees for superlative off-road handling and performance.
• The 3-piece steering tie-rod gives true steering. (It is the first time to employ 3-piece steering tie-rod in this series.)
• Access the battery pack from the car top. Turn the hood lever and remove the side pins then lift up the roof. After that, slide the driver figure forward to access the battery.
• Ribbed tyres are on the front, and grippy square spike tyres on the rear.
• Hex hubs on the front allow attachment of different wheels.
• Rear damper attachment positions and rear upper arms can be changed.
• Comes with two marking options and one driver figure.
• Use Tamiya Colour paints (sold separately) to paint the driver figure.
• Many separately sold DT-02/DT-03 parts are compatible, with a wealth of options for fine-tuning setup

The Fighting Buggy was originally exported as the Super Champ in 1982 across the globe. For a limited time only, it is back as a special re-release celebrating 36-plus years after it originally made its debut in hobby stores.

The re-release kit begins with a new name, which is the same as that used by the original Japanese release of the R/C model. While it features a variety of tweaks and upgrades, Tamiya's designers made sure to retain the drivability, appearance and characteristics of the original.

The 2WD buggy The Frog will be a model familiar to many who joined in the first R/C boom of the 1980s. Now, it serves as the inspiration for this new model, the Neo Fighter Buggy. The DT-03 Chassis
The stylish slim-line form of this chassis stems from its lightweight yet durable monocoque frame, which features a longitudinally-positioned battery and the R/C equipment along the centreline for excellent balance. The combination of a long 287mm wheelbase and 4-wheel double wishbone suspension, married to CVA oil dampers with long arms, allows the model to handle with stability on poor surfaces. Ribbed front and square spike rear tires provide ample grip, and the rear-positioned gearbox is sealed to protect from dust and dirt, with the built-in differential gear offering smooth cornering.

The Holiday Buggy was one of Tamiya’s classic R/C car kits first released in 1980. It is available as a re-release assembly kit. The classic body comes mounted on the DT-02 chassis, which has its battery pack loaded in the centre of the bathtub frame, providing excellent handling performance even on rough surfaces.

DT-02
The DT-02 machine is a simple 2WD chassis which features a straightforward, rugged design to ensure easy assembly and superb reliability, while its 4-wheel double wishbone suspension offers agile handling. Combining exciting performance with user-friendliness, the DT-02 chassis is the perfect way for R/C novices to start enjoying the wonderful hobby of Radio Control.
