A must have item for the Arrma driver is the new F2 body for the Mojave Grom. Something just feels right the way the new body shell from JConcepts sits on this chassis and assembles to their inner roll-cage and clipless body mounting system. A lot of work went into this project to ensure a nice fit and finish for the customer while maintaining JConcepts styling to the item. The clear polycarbonate body is factory pre-cut and includes bolt-on number and name plates to increase racing looks and performance.

The design starts at the front-end with high impact looks and pre-marked locations which require user trimming to attach to the Arrma clipless body mount geometry. The included decal sheet can be used to stealth out the entire front-end with blank decals or go for a more factory and detailed look of the light and signal appearance found on passenger vehicles. In the hood area, there is a large cut-in feature allowing the user to add additional air escape holes. The fenders are hard-edged, provide plenty of clearance for racing and bash tires and blend straight into the F2 design.

Finnisher 2 styling has many details in with the cab of the body shell and its integral features. JConcepts incorporated the low-profile and V-style cab into the design and sunk additional louvers into the roof. To increase rigidity, the team added a slight stabilization fin in the center and a railed edge on each side of the cab to help race further into the future. As the cab falls away and into the bed area, a hard chamfer leads into a series of stepped sections allowing more air escape passages to be user trimmed by preference. Between the wheel wells, 4 more deep rooted louvers are placed and can be tuned to the requirements of the driver.

A rollbar outlines the rear bed area, new number and name plate mounting areas are established in key performance areas. The rear fenders are bulged to clear racing tires, and they calmly flow into another F2 trait, the double step side-pod enhancement. At the rear of the quarter-panel, a JConcepts decal can be placed for rear taillight positioning. Window placement, volume, and layout can make a design and this body has plenty. The F2 has recessed side windows and alternate panel locations which can be painted as body color, detailed with included decal on the outside, or user masked as all one-piece.

The F2 body arrives in package with protective film on clear polycarbonate body, detailed decal sheet and the shell has already been pre-cut from the factory. There are dimples, hole locations, and square scribed lines throughout on the F2 body indicating where small holes should be reamed or drilled by the customer to attach the Arrma inner roll-cage workings. JConcepts decals are included to help detail the final look while window mask is also packaged with the body to aid in the painting process.

It can be difficult to build a mini buggy body that stands out from the rest while fitting the latest chassis shapes and geometry. JConcepts was hitting on all cylinders while completing the new P2 body to fit the Arrma Typhon Grom. The difficulty designing this new body was the fitment needed to accommodate the clipless body system on the popular mini vehicle. The pre-cut P2 body is ready to mount with holes in necessary areas to attach clipless geometry.

The stock front and rear assemblies take care of the body mounting on this shell. Utilizing the outer caps that drop into place from the top and inner housings a steady unit is formed. The body itself is classic P2 styling incorporating the angular cab, large format front windshield along with dual side windows to bring the entire design together. Side winglets wrap the top of the sidepod and terminate into the side of the window and the chamfered edges standout as JConcepts features.

The center fin runs down the cab and drops into the clipless pocket providing some stability and durability to the design. To the side of the cab the rear and dual step features are placed in a familiar position compared to legacy P2 models and the entire perimeter of the body is pre-cut to drop into position for fit and function. The body arrives in package with protective film on clear polycarbonate body, detailed decal sheet and the shell has already been pre-cut from the factory.
