Thickness of the high-rigidity A7075-T6 aluminum main chassis has been reduced from 2.5mm to 2.0mm for lighter weight. Increased chassis flex also contributes to improved grip.

Centre bulkhead (gearbox) is positioned 7mm further forward compared to the Lazer ZX7, rebalancing front-to-rear weight distribution for improved traction and stability. It is equipped with a geared center differential, with an optional slipper clutch conversion available.

Steering servo stay changed to a one-piece aluminum design. Floating servo mount layout minimizes the effect on chassis flex for smoother steering characteristics.

Includes new aluminum big bore oil shocks with φ13mm pistons as standard. Resin damper caps improve speed over surface gaps and recovery from changes in posture for improved driving stability.

Caster angle can be adjusted to 7°, 10°, or 13° by changing resin bushings. Enables quick setup changes to suit driver preference and track conditions.

New design rear hub carrier separates the upper arm mounting point to allow adjustment of upper arm length, mounting height, and roll center. Outer suspension pin height can also be changed with resin bushings. High-rigidity aluminum construction.

The newly designed body positions the cabin near the rear in traditional racing buggy style to create fresh impressions with new drivers and a sense of nostalgia for those with more years behind the controls.

The driver figure used to be standard in Kyosho R/C buggies in earlier times and has been revived in this model to increase the sense of realism. The driver figure can also be attached to the 2WD Dirt Master. Polycarbonate gear cover protects the spur and pinion gear when driving on surfaces with gravel and stones. The gear cover can be easily attached and detached with screws.

Compatible with most mainstream R/C car batteries available. The battery is secured with a hook-and-loop fastener belt, so various battery sizes and shapes can be secured in place.

Resin oil shocks equipped on front and rear suspensions soak up the bumps from the road surface. Dial adjustment of spring tension makes it easy to change chassis height setting.

H-pattern pin tires are equipped on front and rear to provide reliable grip on any surface. Newly designed spoke wheels recreate that retro style to match the body form.

Slipper clutch protects the gears and drive system from excessive loads. Tension settings of the slipper clutch can be adjusted to change driving characteristics.

Front and rear suspension upper arms and steering rod use turnbuckles so simply turn to adjust rod length and change camber angle and toe angle settings.

Body Designed combining retro vibe with a modern touch. The conventional rear motor chassis design with some modern enhancements allows great driving experience on all types of surfaces.

Newly designed body is based on a full-scale off-road vehicle in the basher or Baja style. Its realistic sense of scale recreates a dynamic off-road atmosphere different to other off-road racing buggies.

Front fog lights can be fitted with optional LED light unit (sold separately). In addition, side mirrors and driver figure in the cockpit recreate a more realistic driving experience.

Realistic molded resin roll cage mounted on the rear of the chassis recreates that wasteland dirt basher style. Roll cage can also be fitted with vintage car rear wing (sold separately) to add a wild style to its elevated driving performance.

Wheel design is aligned to its real-car like body styling. Rear wheels are the same dish type used on the Dirt Cross 4WD while the front wheels are newly designed for the Dune Master.

Micro pin spike tires on front and rear deliver extreme grip. Wider front tires than the Ultima SB Dirt Master optimize front/rear grip balance while elevating overall appearance.

Rear 2WD off-road buggy based on the competition-level Ultimate RB5 chassis with a rich track record at major races including World Championships. Compatible with almost all batteries for 1/10 scale models including standard straight packs.

Resin oil shocks absorb and moderate feedback from the road surface to maintain stable posture of the vehicle. Dial adjustment of spring tension makes it easy to set chassis height. Wide range of race-spec springs can also be fitted.

Gear differential on rear enables smooth cornering and is easy to assemble and maintain. Add diff oil (sold separately) to convert into oil-filled diff. Ultima series ball differential can also be fitted for circuit driving.

Tapping screws with easy maintenance 2mm hex heads are mainly used for fixing plastic parts, instead of plus-head screws usually used on entry-level models.

This rear-wheel-drive off-road buggy features a midship layout, positioning the motor just ahead of the rear wheels. The high-rigidity duralumin main chassis has undergone slight modifications, while the proven low-profile gearbox and other key components have been carried over from the Ultima RB7.

A new body based on the superb aerodynamics of the RB7, features design modifications to the rear cabin to further enhance efficiency. The rear wing has also been redesigned for increased strength, generating powerful and stable downforce.

The front and rear shock stays have been upgraded from the RB7's plastic material to 4mm thick carbon fiber, significantly enhancing strength and rigidity. The new design provides better protection against damage during rollovers, and a resin protector comes standard to safeguard both carpet and artificial grass surfaces.

New aluminum oil shocks with 13mm pistons enhance stability at high speeds and over uneven surfaces while effectively absorbing landing impacts. The springs have also been upgraded for improved performance.

The aluminum steering crank and plate ensure smooth operation and high rigidity, enhancing steering response. Additionally, the upper bulkhead shape has been modified to prevent interference with the servo horn.

The completely redesigned aluminum rear hub carriers allow for changes in upper rod length by adjusting spacer thickness, increasing the capacity for ball bearings. The height of the suspension pins can be adjusted by replacing the resin bushings.

The new rear bulkhead features a separate upper rod mounting point. The aluminum upper rod mount enhances suspension rigidity and allows for tuning of the suspension geometry by adjusting the rod mounting height.

The LCG battery mount allows forward-back weight distribution adjustments and features a tool-free, one-touch system for quick battery installation and removal.

The previously optional front wing is now included as standard. It helps adjust aerial posture during jumps and serves as an effective tuning part, also altering cornering characteristics.

Ball differential unit delivers smooth cornering and sharp acceleration even on low grip off-road surfaces. This latest Ultima incorporates components that were previously optional upgrades.

Universal swing shafts ensure motor power is efficiently transferred to the rear wheels, not only improving drive efficiency but also minimizing the risks of parts falling off after jump landings.

Moderate flexibility in the nylon resin rear wing provides excellent crash resilience. The large side plates increase the wing’s downforce and are the same as the JJ Ultima.

High-grip soft compound front and rear tires combine with wheels molded in Kogawa’s (designer of the Ultima) signature peppermint green, which are unique to this limited edition.

In the 1980s, 1/12 scale electric on-road racing was defined by fierce competition between 4WD models with ladder chains and agile 2WD cars with 3-point (3P) suspension. Kyosho’s Phantom EP-4WD dominated on both temporary parking-lot tracks and permanent asphalt circuits, while the rear 2WD Plazma series leveraged its lightweight design and simple drivetrain to excel where battery efficiency was key.
From this competitive era emerged a hybrid — the Plazma Phantom — which combined the Plazma’s main chassis and rear suspension with the Phantom’s drivetrain. Piloted by Kyosho works drivers, it blended 4WD traction with 3P suspension adaptability to deliver outstanding race results. But no kit was ever sold, leaving enthusiasts to build conversions from individual parts. Now, decades later, the wait is over. The Phantom PZF T-33 brings the Plazma Phantom to market as a kit for the first time. More than just a parts combination, the Phantom PZF T-33 features newly developed components for performance beyond what was possible in the ’80s. The quick-handling T-33 body also returns, expanding the body lineup. Compared to building a Plazma Phantom from separate re-releases, the Phantom PZF delivers better cost efficiency and puts a true works-spec machine within reach. Dedicated servo plate, designed specifically for this model, is isolated from the main chassis to prevent steering influence from chassis flex. This layout also optimizes Ackermann geometry for sharper, more consistent control.

Proven ladder-chain system drives the front tires, with tension adjustable by changing the rear axle adapter and link count. The main chassis is precision-milled to eliminate chain interference.

The Plazma MKⅢ Limited features an FRP A-bar that allows rear suspension adjustment to suit a variety of surfaces.

Newly developed metal ball-connect system pairs ball joints with a 7075 duralumin plate to deliver smooth suspension movement. O-rings are added on both sides for roll control, enabling a wide range of setup options.

Carbon fiber main chassis, based on the reproduced Plazma MK.3 Limited, is optimized for chain drive. Precision milling minimizes chain interference, while a relocated servo mount balances moderate flex with high rigidity for improved cornering performance.

Includes previously optional ball differential as standard. Its LSD-like effect delivers stable traction, with adjustable tension via the nut. Matching the Plazma MK.3 Limited reproduction, it uses a lightweight, high-rigidity 6 mm carbon shaft.

1/12 scale was the center of on-road electric R/C car racing in the 1980’s and was dominated by the Kyosho Fantom EP-4WD series. However, the Fantom enjoyed a strong rivalry with the rear drive 2WD Plazma series, also made by Kyosho. The Plazma’s final and ultimate model was the MKIII Limited which was released in 1987. More than 30 years later it lives again as part of the Kyosho Vintage Series! Like other Vintage Series models, the reborn Plazma MKIII Limited is true to the original design but features some modern adaptations for the latest R/C systems and power sources. Now you can relive the glory days of the 1980’s while enjoying the power and performance of modern racing! While sharing some components with the Fantom EP-4WD Ext, the simple structure of the Plazma makes it lighter and faster than the Fantom over circuits with enough grip. Like the 1987 original, the new Plazma MKIII Limited features a carbon fiber main chassis, but the original black FRP upper plate and A-shaped joint bar are now also made of carbon fiber. The rear differential unit has been upgraded to the same high-performance ball-diff installed on the Fantom EP-4WD Ext Kyosho 60th Anniversary Model released in 2023. The front suspension uses the same simple king-pin & coil structure with adjustable caster angle, but now also includes two king-pin diameter types for precision adjustment of control characteristics. Simple rear-wheel-drive 2WD model in the classic style of 1/12 on-road racers from the 1980s. Features king-pin spring front suspension and a rear 3-point suspension system with A-bar configuration.

Includes black front and rear wheels adopted from the Fantom EP-4WD Ext 60th Anniversary Model. As the tires come pre-glued and trued in the kit, there is no need for adjustment with a tire setter.

King-pin & spring suspension system is equipped with springs on the upper part of the front knuckle arm. Adjust steering characteristics by changing caster angle with different diameter king-pins or using set screws. Driving stability can also be enhanced by offsetting the wheel shaft behind the king-pin.

Steering servo is secured to the main chassis with a special plate and aluminum mount that replaces the double-sided tape and fiberglass tape mount in the original. This allows various modern servo sizes to be used without affecting chassis flex characteristics.

Lightweight and high-rigidity carbon fiber upper plate is included as standard. The oil shock feature a dial system that allows for easy adjustment of spring tension.

A-bar made from highly flexible black FRP plate functions as rear suspension as well as supporting the rear axle unit.

Includes modified 540-motor compatible motor mount based on the modern Fantom EP-4WD Ext. Replacing the rear shaft adapter enables 1mm adjustment of the wheelbase and 1.3mm for ground clearance.

Newly adopted ball-diff unit (not equipped on the original Plazma) delivers increased traction stability through its limited slip disc (LSD) effect. Special wheel bolts secure the right-side wheels and aluminum parts are finished in the Plazma’s unique silver color.

6mm diameter rear shaft is made from lightweight high-rigidity carbon, which is included as standard. The shaft supports the ball-diff and boasts high impact-resistance.

High-precision rear left wheel hub adopts the same double screw clamp mechanism with a silver finish as the Fantom EP-4WD Ext 60th Anniversary Model and prevents loosening during operation.

Original Plazma MK.III body, renowned for its sharp cornering characteristics, has been recreated in the new model and comes with a separate rear wing for increased rear tire grip.

After the dynamic impact of the Optima was felt across the R/C racing scene, the Turbo Optima launched in 1986 as the strongest machine in the series. Until now. In addition to large diameter tires, large capacity pressure shocks, front & rear stabilizers and Le Mans 240S motor, the immortal Turbo Optima has modernized for 8.4V power and makes its debut as the 7th model of the vintage series. Key components of the Turbo Optima chassis have been redesigned to meet the demands of modern racing conditions and power sources, and share DNA with the Optima and Javelin. The new Turbo Optima is not simply a reproduction of the original and includes gold anodized parts that were optional upgrades on the original, gold shocks with dial adjustment of chassis height and new modern block pattern tires. Higher specs and design features deliver modern performance standards and visual impact that captures the magic of the original. - While a faithful reproduction the original Turbo Optima, each key performance component has been revised for compatibility with modern power sources.

Nylon pipe frame and aluminum rooftop form a high strength roll cage body structure. Includes large bumper similar to the original design as well as a mini bumper suitable for racing.

New large size wing and wing stay is made from reinforced nylon material. The original Javelin wing was mounted on the roll cage directly. The new wing stay is now separate from the roll cage adding more durability and the wing is fixed with body clips for easier maintenance. The wing mounting position is the same as the Scorpion series allowing installation of the smaller wing used for the Scorpion onto the new Javelin.

Two drive system selections: chain drive or belt drive.

The gearbox is equipped with a slipper clutch to protect the drive system from sudden load changes such as jump landings. It can respond to various road conditions with simple adjustments.

Main chassis, shock stay and plates are made from 6061T6 aluminum alloy for corrosion resistance and increased strength. Countersunk flat head and tapping screws realize flush finish and reduce the number of nuts used.

While faithfully replicating the original 1986 design, the oil shocks on the new version lift performance potential with stainless steel shafts on front and rear and aluminum cylinders with outer diameter increased from φ10 mm to φ12 mm.

Shock resistant nylon double wishbone suspension with long stroke delivers superior durability and running stability in combination with the increased bore of the oil shocks.

Replace resin bushes on the rear hub carriers to chose from three different toe angles (0°, 1°, 2°). Aluminum hexagonal wheel hubs can be fixed with set screws.

While staying true to the Javelin’s original design, tires feature more pins and a revised compound to ensure increased grip. Includes lightweight chrome dish-type wheels.

Nylon pipe frame and aluminum rooftop form a high strength roll cage body structure. Includes large bumper similar to the original design as well as a mini bumper suitable for racing.

New large size wing and wing stay is made from reinforced nylon material. The original Javelin wing was mounted on the roll cage directly. The new wing stay is now separate from the roll cage adding more durability and the wing is fixed with body clips for easier maintenance. The wing mounting position is the same as the Scorpion series allowing installation of the smaller wing used for the Scorpion onto the new Javelin.

Two drive system selections: chain drive or belt drive.

The gearbox is equipped with a slipper clutch to protect the drive system from sudden load changes such as jump landings. It can respond to various road conditions with simple adjustments.

Main chassis, shock stay and plates are made from 6061T6 aluminum alloy for corrosion resistance and increased strength. Countersunk flat head and tapping screws realize flush finish and reduce the number of nuts used.

While faithfully replicating the original 1986 design, the oil shocks on the new version lift performance potential with stainless steel shafts on front and rear and aluminum cylinders with outer diameter increased from φ10 mm to φ12 mm.

Shock resistant nylon double wishbone suspension with long stroke delivers superior durability and running stability in combination with the increased bore of the oil shocks.

Replace resin bushes on the rear hub carriers to chose from three different toe angles (0°, 1°, 2°). Aluminum hexagonal wheel hubs can be fixed with set screws.

While staying true to the Javelin’s original design, tires feature more pins and a revised compound to ensure increased grip. Includes lightweight chrome dish-type wheels.
