This is the basic model of the "EX-NEXT" series, which features ultra-high-speed response enabled by XT technology. By minimizing exterior decoration, we have successfully reduced costs, allowing us to offer this renewed version at a more affordable price. The specifications and functions of the unit remain unchanged, so you can enjoy the high-end performance with ease.

Equipped with Lay Down Trigger (LDT)!
A new idea to lay down the operation axis of the trigger by 90 degrees. This sensation that you can squeeze and press naturally with your fingertips. Ergonomic design that does not disturb the movement of the fingers realizes a seamless and highly linear operation feeling over the entire stroke. Makes accelerator work and braking smoother and more enjoyable. "LDT" is born, which seems to improve Dora Tech for both one and two ranks. This appearance, which is also focused on the quality of operation feeling, takes you to a new dimension. MINI-Z compatible telemetry function & advanced mode.
This is a transmitter/receiver set that comes with the receiver unit "MINI-Z EVO 2 Receiver Unit for KO Compatible Transmitter (No.82045)" compatible with MINI-Z EVO2.
By combining it with MR-04EVO2, you can use the "telemetry function" that allows you to adjust settings from the radio, and the "advanced mode" that allows faster communication.

Various setting values that have been previously set on a PC can be easily set from the radio by operating the buttons on the expansion unit, just as if changing the settings on the radio. EVO2 allows you to use high-speed advanced mode (0.99ms)! Advanced mode's high-speed communication increases the density of information that can be sent to the machine. Firmware Ver.3.00 compatible with MINI-Z EVO2.
Firmware Ver.3.00 has been released to use MINI-Z EVO2 with EX-NEXT. EX-NEXT of this set is preset to Ver.3.00.

If you already have an EX-NEXT, you can update it to Ver.3.00 to make it compatible with MINI-Z EVO. Please download and use the software and files required for uploading from the link below. *A separate ICS USB Adapter HS is required for the update.

You can choose and use from "XT advanced mode" which is the world record response for one way communication and "XT telemetry mode" which is compatible for Telemetry ( 2 ways communication).

MINI-Z Mode
EX-NEXT was newly developed by reviewing the design of the control and communication systems from the ground up. It achieves the industry's fastest communication speed and high resolution. In MINI-Z Mode, it outperforms FHSS such as the EX-RR, which has been the fastest. The EX-NEXT's high-speed communication increases the density of information that can be transmitted to the machine. You can experience the "fine and smooth control feeling" brought about by unprecedented high-definition, high-resolution control.

XT Advanced Mode, XT Telemetry Mode
This product is not dedicated to MINI-Z. When combined with the KR-420XT receiver and KR-242XT(Telemetry only) can also be used with general-purpose RC cars without the need to change the firmware. The combination of the ultra-fast XT Advanced Mode, the bi-directional XT Telemetry Mode, and the serial servo 4S allows you to experience the dramatic evolution of high-speed performance from FHSS. For details, please refer to the product page of the set with KR-420XT and KR-242XT.

Please note: Switching the RF mode

You can switch between XT Advanced Mode, XT Telemetry Mode, and MINI-Z Mode by setting the RF Mode in EX-NEXT. (Set the RF mode to "MINI-Z Mode" when using the MINI-Z.) Also, the default setting is "XT telemetry mode", so if you want to use it in MINI-Z Mode, please change it to "MINI-Z Mode" first.

RF mode can be set for each model memory in order to be able to use it on a variety of machines. When adding a new model memory, please be sure to set the RF mode first. For details on how to set the RF mode, please refer to the "EX-NEXT Instruction Manual".
When the RF mode is set to "MINI-Z Mode", the LED on the EX-NEXT unit repeats "blue -> light blue -> blue -> light blue" alternately, so please check it.

Adjust the Gyro sensitivity at the Transmitter
The EX-NEXT allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the gyro installed in the MINI-Z from the transmitter at hand. The sensitivity can be adjusted using the 3CH/4CH "GYRO" function. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted from the control console without connecting the machine to a PC, allowing fine adjustments while running the machine.

Intuitive alert function with vibration and full-color LED
Equipped with a vibration motor that has been requested. This can be used for alarms that notify the running time and alerts for various sensors. In addition, the LED on the front of the master unit is a full-color LED. The radio wave mode in use and the alert content of the vibration motor can now be identified by the LED lighting pattern.

Can be replaced with the Color Grip2 of your choice.
The "Color Grip2" already on sale can be attached. Choose your favorite color from a wide range of variations.

Tuned for the evolution of the EX-NEXT to match the fastest feeling master unit as an exclusive use unit.

Superior durability and operation feeling led by new angle sensor.
Prevents deterioration of durability and operational feeling due to wear, which can be said to be the problem of contact sensors. Along with smooth operation feeling by smoother sliding, we realize high durability that is approximately 100 times compared with the prior sensor. Therefore, the best feeling of operation can be maintained for a long time. In addition, the new sensor outputs a more linear signal to the Master Unit. You can control the ESC and servo with a detailed operation sense. A realization of a sense of unity between people and cars.

Increased the number of ball bearings that support the steering shaft for higher accuracy!
The number of ball bearings supporting the steering shaft has been increased from one to two. The double-support type supports higher precision operation and reliability.

The soft spring which can be operated with a constant tension.
The normal spring included in the extension unit has been modified. The previous spring used was a progressive spring becoming stiffer as the wheel angle increased, but the new softer spring give a linear stiffness as the wheel angle increases. Since the spring tension can be adjusted, you can set the spring tension to your personal preference.

Firmware update function.
Firmware update function is supported with the use of the ICS USB Adapter HS.
